Fly Tipping in Withins Way

Fly Tipping has returned to Withins Way once more.

This pile of rubbish was found today tipped in the area of the “S” bend at the far end of the lane.

May be contacting the supplier of the “bottled water” could reveal the culprit!?

To report flytipping contact the Neighbourhood Services Help Desk on 0151 471 7595.  It will help if you can give the following details:

  • the date, time and place where the tipping took place.
  • a description of the waste – type, quantity.
  • details of any vehicles involved – type of vehicle, registration number, make, model, colour.
  • Or see the Halton Borough Coucil website

  1. The park is also a favourite for fly tipping, I have just used the number off this web site to report building rubbish at the gate to the cricket pitch. We have actually followed people into the woods so they can’t tip rubbish. The park is more frequented than Within way and gives more opportunity to get registration numbers, hopefully if everyone is aware of these people it may put them off. What we really need is a prosecution with some publicity given to the case and an example made of the culprits.

  2. Hello.
I haven`t been as far as the cricket pitch for a while.
I thought there was a metal barrier in place across the track, at the point where the fork in it is,, stopping access through the wood to the pitch etc..
There were two bags of cuttlery dumped by the start of the bund on the left where the totum pole use to be,, I stuck them in the bin by the gates on the drive way.
