Village Sign to be re-newed
The large square village sign located on the War Memorial is in-need of repair. The image depicting part of Church road, including the Childe Of Hales Cottage and St Mary`s Church has faded due to weathering over time and been open to the passing traffic on both sides of the War Memorial.
Hale Parish Council have agreed to renew the image/sign and have accepted a quote put forward of £200 for the improvement to take place soon.

Doctors Surgery to stay open
It`s now clear that the Doctors Surgery in Ivy Farm Court has been saved and will not close! After many months of protests from villagers and local councilors, it has been confirmed that a tender to run the surgery will now be advertised for a GP to run the service.
The level of service from the surgery has not been confirmed yet, although it is hoped that the current level of service will increase to provide an adequate and worthy health care unit with a regular GP in attendance on a daily basis for patients in the village.
