Over the weekend it appears that a broken up/cut up car has been dumped in the brook, that is situated halfway up Carr Lane.  On further inspection, it is not a whole car, but smallish pieces of doors and side wings with rubber lining still attached.

Near by in the mud,, tyre marks can be seen that indicate it hase been a fairly large transit van or some sort of flat-bed lorry that has been the form transit for the material.  By the amount of wreckage in the brook and the weight of it,, it could be that more than one person is responsible?

Hale Youth Center Development Plans

Saturday 19th of January saw a Hale Youth Club consultation/open day take place in the old Top School opposite Arran Close on the High Street.  Youngsters and locals  from Hale village were shown various plans and architects drawings of how the Old School would look once it had been refurbished inside and out.  A questionare was also on hand for people to fill in giving their thoughts and opinions of the new plans and architects drawings.

The Youth Club will be primarily for the young people of the village but it is planned or hoped for, that the building will be also open for different members of the Community so that it compliments the facilities of the now Village Hall on the High Street near the park entrance

For further information about the new plans for the Youth Club-Top School, please contact:
