Baileys Lane Gates

The proposed new gates have now been erected, at either end of Baileys Lane.  They are of the same design and construction as of the gate on Withins Way.

The gates have been erected at either end of Bailyes Lane, to prevent various aspects of nuisance, from speeding vehicles, fly-tipping, along with quad-bikes and 4×4’s.

While I was there a chap was overseeing a fire that had been started, allegedly by kids, in a pile of loose straw.  He had already phoned the fire brigade, for whom arrived several minutes after myself to extinguish the small fire.

They said they had not been pre-warned/advised about the new gates and therefore had to turn around at the far end of the lane where the other gate is-near the threshold of runway 2.7 and make their way around into the other access point of Baileys Lane.
