Macmillan Coffee Morning

Local villagers attended a fundraising Coffee Morning, on Friday 25th September, in Hale Village Hall from 10.30am till 12 noon. The Coffee morning was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support-The Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning

There was plenty to do, eat, and drink, from a nice cup of tea or coffee, to home made cakes and scones for people to buy.  There were two raffles, one for a lovely flower arrangement and the other raffle for some nice prizes.

During the Coffee Morning-in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research, those who were on duty could be seen mingling with their friends from the village, serving tea and coffee along with selling the raffle tickets, everyone chatted about this that and the other and a lovely village atmosphere and friendship shone through.  At the end of the morning Gwen Whittle who had organised the Coffee Morning drew the raffle tickets, at the end, she thanked everyone for attending.
